It’s wonderful how God moves us from one season to another, always moving us forward in His greater plans for our lives. Our youngest daughter, who we have been homeschooling for the past ten years, is now setting off to college in a couple weeks. I’m so excited for this new chapter in her life, and all that God has ahead for her.
At the same time, my husband is embarking on a new business venture! Excited about all that is ahead, but uncertain too. Keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. As a good friend of mine says, “I’m in His grip and holding on for dear life!” Then, there is my younger son who is entering fifth grade this year. Can’t believe it! This coming week I’ll be knee deep in planning and mapping out the school year. It will be quite a different homeschool experience this year, with just the two of us.
A new chapter is coming in the Sutherland home, and I’m grateful. Grateful that God prepares us for change. Thankful that He is faithful.
“..in His grip and holding on for dear life!”
