Blogging has been a challenge this past month. Who am I kidding…it’s a challenge for me every month. Let’s face it, I’m blog challenged :).
Thanksgiving preparations, travel, book edits, and tending to my Etsy shop have consumed me. I have wanted to get here so many times, but there’s continually been something pulling for my attention. Thanksgiving was great, though. I hope yours was as well…
Can you believe 2015 is almost over? Less than three weeks away we’ll be in the new year. Time is flying by. I’m getting older, with the grey hair to prove it…
AND my kids are growing up too fast on me. Do yours do that? Don’t you wish they would stop it?!
I have some news to share. Well, several bits of news. First, my book releases in four months! Those months are going to fly. My endorsers already have their copy, and they are in the process of doing what endorsers do. The editing is basically done, and the book is in type-setting now and will go through it’s final proof read shortly.
Second bit of news is that my Etsy Shop (cryssutherlanddesign) launched last month and I’ve been blown away by the response. Positive, all positive. I’m so excited to see my artwork sell. It actually makes me giddy! Why? It’s not what you might think. I have a plan for the funds I earn from sales. They will be used to help ministries actively helping victims and survivors of sexual abuse. It just tickles me to know this little hobby of mine can be used by God in this way (take THAT devil!).
My third bit of news is for you! I have a friend who shares my story and who blogs! She is more faithful at blogging than I am, and she is a gifted writer. Her name is Jelise Ballon.
Isn’t she beautiful?
You can find her at NeitherHeightNorDepth.com. I’m so excited to tell you that she has agreed to guest blog from time to time! She writes from her heart, and shares wisdom on marriage, raising a family, and the art of forgiving the offenses of others.
You are in for a real treat, with Jelise!
I better run for now, but I hope you have a blessed and wonderful weekend. If you go Christmas shopping, don’t forget my gift. I like anything chocolate and coffee – either or is fine 🙂
Be blessed, friend.
