There is nothing quite like being a part of a healthy community to help heal a hurting soul. This year I’ve encountered so many, like me, who have suffered the ravages of past sexual abuse and who desire very much to learn how to grow beyond those wounds and live an abundant life.
Perhaps you can relate…
I was sexually abused for almost six years of my childhood and that painful experience caused me to carry a lot of hurt into my adult years. While I’m ten years into my healing journey, and much progress has been made, there are still areas that need mending.
Maybe you share my story…
I’ve come to realize that sexual trauma leaves a soul wound that only God can fully heal, and healing happens as we place our hope in Jesus Christ. The truth is, while we may have been deeply wounded by the sins of others – even our own terrible choices – when we place our hope in Christ we are made new. It is through our relationship with him that we find the courage and strength to process through the muck of sexual trauma and it is because of him that we can ultimately heal.
Are you ready to take another step towards wholeness?
Join me for my FREE seven week online book study for Journey to Heal: Seven Essential Steps of Recovery for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, February 5th through March 26th. This is a video-based study where I personally take group members through the concepts covered in my book, sharing the tools God gave me to heal my heart and help me live beyond my wounds.
What will you gain from participating?
- A sense of community with others on the same journey
- Tools to help you process your story, with healing results
- A Biblical perspective of who you are and how God see’s you
- A clear path to healing that you can take at your own pace
What others are saying about the Journey to Heal Online Study…
“Journey to Heal has been so helpful for me- both the book and the discussions here- I found the sections about letting go of resentment and forgiving especially helpful, and they have definitely helped me go further in these. This study has brought me to the point where I feel that I need to be more open about my story to allow God to use it to help others. ” – Leslie Crawford, Survivor & Blogger
“I loved the book and the study group. I ended up reading the book 3 times! The journaling has been beneficial in telling my story both on paper and in person. I loved the pace of the group, we stayed a little longer when it was time to write down our story, this was necessary to not feel rushed.” – Annette Krystick, Survivor
“This book was absolutely instrumental in God’s healing of the sounds I experienced during childhood sexual abuse. The honesty and authenticity in which it was written helped me understand the effects of these wounds all through my life. And the clearly defined steps in this book gave me real ways to begin to let God heal me.” – Abby Blanton, Survivor
“Love this tool – used it one on one with a few ladies and it really helped them process and talk it out. I can see this healing women in churches, prisons, shelters, around the world. Christ is our healer, but this book leads you right where He can enter your pain and walk with you to freedom!” – Kristin Robinson, Survivor & Blogger
